Monday Motivation

Well hello to all my lovely readers, it’s been a long time since we’ve talked. Ten days to be exact. Ten days since I last wrote or shared a blog post and the longest I’ve ever gone without saying hello and sharing my thoughts with you all on my little blog.

It’s been an interesting week, I was away then I came home unwell, my anxiety decided to rear its ugly head again, and I just really needed some down time. I forget sometimes that I’m just the kind of person who can’t let things spiral out of control, and I don’t mean having fun and letting go. I mean being so busy that I don’t take time to breath, to relax, to sleep, to rest. I don’t do well in times like that so sometimes, I just need to remind myself of that.

Last week was one of those weeks. I needed some time out, I needed to rest, I needed to get back into my normal routine, I needed to have a good long talk with myself and say enough is enough!

Does anyone else go through times like this? When there’s so much going on that you feel like you’re losing control and need to take a step back? Maybe it’s just me…? As I’ve said many times over the past few months, this year was always going to be a transition year for me, and while that’s incredibly exciting, it’s also sometimes scary, and overwhelming.

But I’ve paused, I’ve rebooted and now I’m ready to get back into the swing of things. There’s lots of exciting things happening over the next few months so it’s time to knuckle down and face it head on.
