A few months back I was sent the Catrice Glam & Doll False Lashes mascara to try out and I don’t know why it has taken me so long to get this review up because I am absolutely loving this mascara, and I mean Loving with a capital ‘L’.
In general I’m a big fan of Catrice makeup products. They are very affordable, and much higher quality than I expected them to be when I first started using them. If you’ve read any of my previous Catrice reviews, you’ll know I love their Ultimate Stay lipstick range, and I have a little soft spot for their eyeshadow palettes too. And this mascara is no different, in fact, I think it might just be my favourite of all the Catrice products I’ve tried.
The first thing I noticed when I started using it was its curved rubber brush head. It has very short, fine rubber needles which at first I thought would be too short to give good volume to the lashes, but how wrong I was.
After just one light coat my lashes were instantly longer and thicker, and the fine needles on the brush head allows the formula to glide on very smoothly and evenly. The brush head is also flexible and bends slightly on application meaning it is incredibly easy to use on both my upper and lower lashes. I dont always wear mascara on my lower lashes because they are quite long anyway, but I love the effect this mascara gives them.

All major positives so far, but now I have to get to my absolute favourite thing about this and that is, you don’t get any mascara on your eyelid even when applying at the very root of the lashes. Hallelujah!
My pet hate with any mascara is when it goes on my eyelids and I don’t mean the upper lid where the tips of the lashes hit, I mean on the lower lid right above where the root of the lashes grow. This tends to happen to me if a mascara is very wet in consistency, or if the applicator brush is quite thick, and it instantly puts me off a product. Maybe it’s how I apply my mascara, but I was so happy to discover it didn’t happen with this (queue inner squeal of excitement!).
If all these positives aren’t enough to make you run out and buy this immediately, then maybe this will! This mascara costs only €4.50. Yes, that is FOUR EURO AND FIFTY CENTS! If ever there was a budget beauty bargain people then this is it.
I really love this mascara, and am a little raging I havn’t started using it before now. I’m about a week in to wearing it and so far it’s getting a major thumbs up from me.
Have any of you tried this? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts too!

Been using it the last few months and absolutely love it. The waterproof one is great too in the blue packaging
