It’s here! The first post of my 2017 Simply Lippy challenge.

For those of you who missed all the details of my challenge, you can catch up by clicking here, but basically, I have challenged myself to wear a different lip product every day for each of the 365 days of 2017. Eeeek!

I’m lippy obsessed as I’m sure most of you already know, so I thought this would be a good, fun way for me to keep focussed on blogging this year, and also give me a chance to play around with my favourite of all the makeup products, lipstick. So here it goes…

Day 1

Today’s lippy of choice is one of my favourite lippy releases of 2016, the YSL Vinyl Liquid lipstick in shade 402. Every girl needs a good red lipstick in her makeup bag and this shade is just to die for. It is a silky, rich red shade perfect for a wintery day like today, and therefore the perfect shade to welcome the New Year and kick off my Simply Lippy challenge.

Although this is a liquid lipstick, it has all the staying power of a regular lippy and the colour payoff is incredible (you can read my in-depth review all about them here).

To kick off the challenge I decided to get really adventurous and record a video. It’s my first ever Simply Sorcha Vlog so please bare with me, it’s not great but I’m hoping you get the idea. I won’t be filming every day of the challenge, with work and every day life I just won’t have the time, but I’m definitely going to try film as much as possible to mix things up a bit. Here’s a look at my first attempt…
