Simply Lippy Challenge Day 66 | Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick in Shade, Backtalk

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you will know that I’ve been so excited about Urban Decay’s Vice Liquid Lipstick launch and finally, it was released a few weeks ago.

I’m a big fan of their products – there’s nothing I’ve tried from UD that I don’t like, so of course the lipstick lover in me has very high hopes for the new Vice collection.

Today I got to try my first Vice liquid lipstick in a lovely deep pink shade I bought called Backtalk, and after just one day of wearing it, I’m absolutely loving it.

The formula itself is liquid with a matte finish, and the matte finish is smooth and creamy which you don’t always get with liquid formulas. It’s not hydrating, but it’s not drying either, and it takes nearly no time at all to dry in and show up its true colour.

The shade itself has a greyish, berry undertone to it, so I would probably describe it as a muted or dull pink, but it is rich enough to still have a bold impact on application. And speaking of application; it’s so quick and easy with the soft, angled brush head.

Everything about this excites me; the packaging, the formula, the colour, the lasting power. I had a feeling it would be a good lipstick, and I’m so glad it has lived up to my expectations.

I’ll definitely be trying out some more shades in the range soon!

  1. This is such a beautiful colour! Perfect for daily wear!! Really need to go get myself some UD lipsticks! This ones definitely on the top of my list. I’m always looking for good daily wear colours and so far haven’t really found the right one!!
