Simply Lippy Challenge Day 68 | Wet n Wild Matte Lipstick in Shade E970, Purty Persimmon

Yesterday I was sent some gorgeous lipsticks from Wet n Wild to try out as part of their International Women’s Day campaign. The idea was to use the lipstick to write one word on your mirror that describes women power and share it on social media.

I absolutely loved the idea from the minute I read about it, and set about writing my favourite word to describe women: fierce!

The lipstick I chose to write my word is the most gorgeous orange toned red – the kind of red that I absolutely love – and because I couldn’t wear it yesterday, of course it just had to be my Simply Lippy choice for today.

The finish is super matte with strong bright pigment, and as you can see, the colour pay off is just fab. It’s not a particularly creamy lipstick, but isn’t drying and has one of the best lasting abilities of all the lipsticks I’ve tried so far this year.

To top it all off, I got some lovely compliments on it today too which is always a great sign!

I’m so impressed with the Wet n Wild lipsticks I’ve tried so far; on Day 52 I wore one of their Megaslicks lippies which I really liked, and I’m liking today’s shade even more.

Have you tried any Wet n Wild lipsticks? I’d love to hear what your fav lippy shades are so make sure you comment below and let me know.

Don’t forget, I’m sharing all my challenge photos and progress over on my social media pages so come follow me over there. You’ll find me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Oh, and if you feel like joining me for a cuppa and a chat then I’m over on snapchat too. Just search for @imsimplysorcha.
