If you’ve been following my challenge, or even my blog, for a while now, you will know that I love Catrice products. I only discovered this brand last year, but since then have been a firm convert to their mascaras, powders and of course, lipsticks.
One of the big makeup trends for Spring / Summer 2017 is ombré lips which I’m just obsessed with, and many of the biggest beauty brands have released dual lippies including YSL, Benefit and Catrice, so obviously I’ve been very excited to try some out.
I finally got the chance to do just that on Day 83, when I picked up a few of the Catrice ombré two-tone lipsticks, and it came as no surprise to me that I was instantly hooked.
This shade, Grapedation Nude, is a combination of a rich berry and soft peach-nude. At first, I was dubious about how it would look, but it really works and you can easily distinguish between both shades on application.
Obviously as you can see from the photos, it needs to be blended after you first apply, but just a quick pucker of the lips and voila, lovely ombré lips.
Now, the only thing I would say is that the shape of this makes it a little awkward to turn around and apply on the bottom lips, it’s no big deal at all, but something worth mentioning if you’re thinking of purchasing.
Having said that, this lipstick hasn’t let me down at all and I really love it. The formula is creamy and hydrating, and the pigment is just gorgeous.
Another great product overall from Catrice!
