For some reason even though I love Urban Decay as a brand, up until a few weeks ago I had never tried any of their blushers. And I really don’t know why.
A month or so ago when doing some beauty shopping, I wanted a new blush shade and decided to go look at the Urban Decay options as I’ve always heard great things about them. After looking through a few shades, I eventually settled on this one called Score, and it is just divine.
This is a powder blush, and the first thing I noticed was how finely milled the powder is. It is just so light, and a little goes a very long way because the pigment is so on point.
Of course, me being me, I opted for a coral shade which has a very slight shimmery glow to the finish as the name Afterglow suggests, and the light, creamy texture makes application just so frickin’ easy!
Sometimes with heavier blushes the powder can pull or drag your base foundation underneath, but that doesn’t happen at all with this blusher. It glides on so easily to the face, leaving a gorgeous soft glow to your cheekbones that stays put pretty damn well throughout the day.
One thing I’m really liking about it is the fact that because the powder is so fine, it makes this a really buildable formula so you can go very soft and light for daytime, or you can layer it giving a bolder cheek definition for night time. So it’s a win-win all round.
It’s no secret that I love Urban Decay as I mentioned above, but I’m pretty sure this blush has just become a new favourite.
Now the one thing I will say is, it’s very similar to Benefit’s Coralista which some of you may remember, I reviewed last year (if you missed it you can catch it here).
Coralista is one of my all time favourite blush shades and one I’ve been wearing for years, but I think it may just have met its match with this.
While Coralista is a peachy-coral shade, Score is more of a pink-coral giving it a richer pigment and dare I say it – might make me love it just a little bit more than Coralista. Plus at €28, it’s cheaper than Coralista too.
I know, shock, horror! That is a big statement for me to make because nothing could touch Coralista for me for so many years, it’s just so perfect. But, there’s a new coral in town folks, and I’m loving it!

I love that color ❤ I received the “crush” one as a gift (which is more of a warm pink) and I was surprised for the same reason you mentioned: a little goes a very long way!
