I have tried quite a few lipsticks from Wet n Wild over the past few months, and have become quite the fan of their Megaslicks balms so when I spotted that they also made a Megaslicks gloss, I had to buy it and give it a try.
As lippies go, gloss formulas would probably be the option I’d reach for last as I prefer creamy textures and rich pigments. However, some days you just want to wear something light, natural and effortless, and that’s what this gloss was for me.
The shade itself, Great Coral-ation, was a very soft peach tone which had just enough pigment to give a tiny hint of colour, and it gave a very natural glossy finish to the lips.
The formula is smooth and velvety and applies so easily to the lips without any dragging or pulling, but best part about it is, it doesn’t have any of the dreaded stickiness that I hate.
For me, a sticky finish is the one sure way to make me never use a gloss again because let’s be honest, choking on strands of hair stuck to my lips is not my idea of fun!
So in a nutshell, I was pretty impressed by this lippy and definitely would use it again. And it’s quite the bargain too!
