Wet n Wild is one of the budget beauty brands that has impressed the most throughout my lipstick challenge; their matte range is a new favourite, and their megalast collection are pretty good too.
First things first, for some reason I was expecting them to be very drying, but actually they aren’t at all and that’s particularly true of today’s megalast shade, Pinkerbell.
When you first go to apply it, it does initially feel dry but as soon as you start blending, the dryness goes away and you are left with a creamy finish and a gorgeous pigment.
While the colour pay off is brilliant for a budget lippy, sadly today’s shade did let me down slightly. From the look of it, I was expecting a bright salmon coral shade, but it is actually much more pink than that, and therefore, not my favourite shade that I’ve tried from them.
Some pinks depending on the richness, can be gorgeous on, but I’m very fussy when it comes to pink and this one just didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
In saying that, the staying power was really good as it always is with these lippies, and I do really like the formula.
