Over the last few weeks, I’ve seen these new megalast liquid lipsticks pop up on lots of social media pages and naturally, I became very excited to give these a try.
Most of you will know by now, that where lipsticks are concerned, Wet n Wild is a budget brand that has really impressed me over the last seven months, given I had never tried any of their lipsticks before starting my challenge.
I’m beginning to tire a little of the liquid lipstick trend – it’s everywhere at the moment and several brands are jumping on the trend bandwagon. Now don’t get me wrong, some of my favourite lipsticks from the challenge are liquid lipsticks, but sometimes too much of a good thing can leave you feeling a bit unexcited about it.
Because of that, I was really hoping that these would give me some renewed excitement about the liquid lip and I have to say, it really did! It helps that I love the colour, and that the staying power is excellent, but mostly, I loved the pigment and colour pay off I got when I wore it.
A lot of liquid formulas have good pigment, but the matte finish on this made it even better and it had gave a lovely opaque coverage too. I don’t think it’s my favourite Wet n Wild offering, I do prefer their megalast matte lipsticks, but it was nice to wear and a good budget choice.
