Simply Lippy Challenge Day 275 | IsaDora Liquid Lip Cream in Shade 14, Loving Red

Last week I was invited along to the relaunch of IsaDora which I was very excited about as it’s been a long time since I’ve tried any IsaDora products. I’m not sure why, but the brand kind of fell off my radar for a while so I’m very excited that they are now back with a bang.

As part of the relaunch, I was kindly given some goodies to try out, one being this gorgeous liquid lip cream which I am loving. I had never tried an IsaDora lippy before but let me tell you, I think it might be one of my favourite of the year so far.

The shade itself needs no introduction; it is a warm orange-toned red which I absolutely love! Those of you who have been following my challenge for a while will already know that this is my favourite kind of shade, and the pigment in this particular lipstick is amazing.

The formula has a very creamy, vinyl feel to it but is incredibly light weight, much more light weight than I was expecting. Because of that, it glides on the lips like a dream and gives a gorgeous opaque coverage.

It has a super high shine, gloss finish which isn’t usually my preference when it comes to finishes, but I really loved how this one gave such a dramatic look to my lips. I was also pleasantly surprised by the staying power for such a high gloss which was really very good too.

Now that winter is on its way, it’s dark in the morning when I get up for work, and equally as dark by the time I get home so I’m not sure the light does the lippy any justice at all.

But one thing is for sure, I will definitely be trying out some more of these lipsticks in the months to come. I just loved wearing this today!
